Proposed participation[edit]
I am an active Wikipedian focused in growing SQ Wikipedia and also focused in adding geo-location not only in SQ Wikipedia. I'm accepted to take part in "FOSScamp Syros 2017" where I will host two workshops and also will be part of organizing team of a small wiki-expedition where participants will be moving around Syros to take photos and add geo-location.
Goal and expected impact[edit]
As a result of my workshops the people participating will learn how to create articles in Wikipedia, how to edit and improve existing articles related to Syros, and how to add geo-location in the Wikipedia articles. I have planed that mostly we will add geo-location of articles which we created during the first workshop but not only them. We will be working more in SQ Wikipedia and EN Wikipedia.
- There will be 11-13 participant on each workshop.
- We will create and improve more than 50 articles on Wikipedia related to Syros.
- We will add geo-location to Wikipedia in all the articles which we created during the first workshop and more since we will going to add in differend languages and we will add geolocation in more than 100 articles.

- Accommodation: Euro 15 per night x 7 nights = 105Euro

Other instructions[edit]
I would be very grateful if this request is approved to have advance reimbursement. Being a student doesn't allow me to cover my expenses so if I don't have advance reimbursement I won't be able to join the event.

I really like the idea having a wikiexpedition and teaching participants to edit wikipedia during this camp. Nafie is a hardworking teenager, we have organized other events together and i know she will do a great job there. I support the proposal to have Wiki presence at FOSSCamp as it's all happening in a relaxed and laid back environment where participants can learn on their own pace and contribute as well. Nafie has been enthusiastic about leading efforts and has always delivered great results in past events. Her curiosity is her greatest strength and I think FOSSCamp is a great opportunity for her to gain experience, but also help others help Wikipedia as well.
