Grants talk:TPS/Nafie shehu/FOSScamp Syros 2017

Feedback requested[edit]

Dear Nafie shehu,

I see that you, Sido uku and Silva.1994 have all submitted requests for travel support from Albania for your participation at FOSScamp Syros 2017. Based on the agenda for this event, it appears that the three of you are collaborating at this event. Generally, in the Travel and Participation Support program, we try to limit the number of requests we fund for any given event. If we fund multiple people to attend the same event, it needs to be clear what additional outcomes would be achieved by sending each additional participant.

Is it possible for you to provide any additional feedback about why you believe it is necessary for all three of you to attend this event?

Warm regards,

--Marti (WMF) (talk) 21:02, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Marti (WMF),

Thank you for your feedback. Related to your question you can find a detailed answer here. Also I like Silva and Sidorela belive that working as a team there will help us in doing a valuable and qualitative work for Wikimedia projects.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,
--Nafie shehu (talk) 19:22, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request approved[edit]

Dear Nafie shehu,

Per my response on Silva.1994's talkpage, I am approving this request.

Please review the next steps for your grant as described in "How the program works". Note that your post-event report must provide a link to an outcome from your participation. We recommend that you start planning your outcome now so you are prepared to submit it as part of your report, which is due 14 days after the event. An outcome does not include the materials you prepare to present at the event (though we’d like you to link to those, too), but something that is created during or after the event because of your participation, such as a link to something new that was co-created by you and your fellow participants at the event, a blog post you wrote to share your experience with others after the event, or a learning pattern to teach others something you've learned at the event.

Our Grants Administrator will be in touch with you about your grant. Thank you for work on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Warm regards, --Marti (WMF) (talk) 12:37, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
