Art+Feminism is an annual event in the wikimedia movement that is aim at bridging gender gap for Women in art. This year's Theme is tagged Are we in this together?. we aim to bridge comtent gap on Wikipedia,wikidata and wiki commons and also use this project to recruit new editors to the unilorin fanclub.

One photo Walk and One physical training and Edit-a-thon contest

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Creating Awareness:we will be creating awareness through posting E fliers on our social media pages to inform people about the project and this is a way of communicating our project to our community members and new intending member

Through social Media: we will be using our whatsApp group for our participants with the aim of continuously communicate and engage them during and after the photo walk and the physical training so they can follow actively and will be involved.

Through Mail: we will be using the Email to officially inform the selected members who register to go for the photo walk and also inform them about the physical training and edit a thon contest.

Through text messages: we will send text messages as a form of reminder to our community member ahead of the photo walk and physical training.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

yes,our community members and target participants have internet connectable devices to effecyively contribute to the goal of the campign project like smart phones,high pads,laptop and tablets.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

we will continue to engage our platforms by updating them about other projects and events in the community.we will be introducing them to other sister project like(wikibooks,wiki voyage and others) we will encourage to be part of the wikimedia nigeria general community for them to be exposed to the activities in Nigeria and globally.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

The theme for this year's art+feminism(Are we in this together?) is focus on bringing wikimedia round the world to contribute to the bridging of gender gap of women in art. this photo walk will help participant capture works from Nigeria Women in art galleries and upload on commoms to achieve this works so they can be refrenced in future . The physical will be focused at training participants how to edit wikipedia amd wikidata and improving and creating standing articles.

Airtime for Communication + Transportation +data for the two team members members: NGN 30,000

E-fliers for pubilicity: NGN 15,000

Camera rental and photography : NGN 15,000

Appreciating prizes for five highest editor for the training(gift items) : NGN 30,000

Contigencies , Miscellaneous and Logistics: NGN 20,000

Total = NGN 205,000

  • The Project which is a movement on Arts and Feminism will promote and bridge knowledge gap in the space and contribute to the content gap on Wikimedia space most especially Wikipedia, Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons. Concurrently, the project will help equip and recruit new user with necessary things not just for the project but for further and future projects.
