Goals[edit]

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? Yes, I met my goals. To make emphatic observations on students' ability to improve content by Wikilinking texts in Articles going by their first contact with Wikipedia editing. Also most participants contributed on articles' editing. They learned new technical skill of writing by Wikilinking. They did share new ideas among themselves.

(i)The one training event was achieved. (ii) There were more than (30) participants to the event as there were (38) participants to the event. (iii)There were (27) participants to the event as against (15) participants planned. (iv) The participants edited (189) articles, (367) total edits, (932) words added and (175) articles viewed.	The success of the event project was achieved (to the best of my knowledge) due to the cooperation which existed between the executives and staff of the school to ensure that students were taught using ICT gadgets to fostering students' knowledge. Further more, the convener collaborated with the school authority and there was a maximal outcome from the participants. What worked well?

(i) Writing a formal letter to the principal and the principal engaging the school Dean of studies, ICT teacher and guidance counselor to collaborate with me for the student. (ii) Teaching the students with ICT gadget (iii) Making the training and Edit-a-thon sessions a participatory class. (iv) Data disbursement (v) Refreshment

What did not work so well?

(i) Allowing students to edit on the Wikipedia pages directly, rather than editing first at their sandboxes or user pages.

What would you do differently next time?

By the next event i wont allow students to edit as if they have embarked on Marathon editing event. i will start earlier before 10:am. i will give individual assignments
