  • We want to participate in the 1lib1refNG to add and edit contents. and i want to encourage other participants to upload those thoughts and ingenuity that is published already to Wikipedia to add to the existing knowledge.

The programme has been also announced in the Enugu hub Wikipedia WhatsApp group

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

I will be using WhatsApp, Email, and Facebook

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.
For example: User:Kaizenify

Yes, I have experienced Wikipidians to help with the programme. User:Ngozi osadebe, User:Ezimoo are available to help me. Moreover, myself User: ChidinmaAfrica has mastered the act of editing and have been following the Wikipedia community in University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Yes, the participants have the skills needed to contribute high quality contents. Many of the participants have been participating in Wikipedia events in the University. There will be a refresher training a day before the main editing event. On the equipment, the University library has a computer laboratory which can be used for the programme.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

I will keep in touch with them through the online platforms earlier listed.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

To bring about the birthing of new things, new ideas that are useful and that will enrich their environment and eventually the world

How will you know if the project is successful and you've met your goals? Please include the following targets:

Metrics tracking[edit]

How do you plan to track your project metrics? Through the various platforms listed above, we will periodically discuss on the activities of the participants to keep abreast of things birthed and uploaded to wikipedia for as part of contribution to knowledge.

Resources[edit]

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).

Facilitators are available, Computer laboratory is available, personal laptops are available, University internet and electricity power supply is also available. Organizes of this programme are myself user:ChidinmaAfrica with my colleagues in the department to join the programme. All the logistics duties required for the successful outcome will be done by myself and I will not receive any support anywhere else for this programme.

we will need the following resources: 1. Venue and Data ₦50,000 2. Diesel for stand by Gen for 2 days, 30 liters at ₦750 per liters = ₦22,500 3. lunch ₦2500 plate X 17 X 2 days= ₦85,000 5. Water for 17 people at ₦1000 per carton (for 2days), = ₦4000 6. Malt Drink for 17 peoples ₦9000 7. Flax banner 2 at N9,000 = ₦18,000 8. Gift Items at 600 per person X 17 = ₦10,200 Total ₦198,700.00
