Briefly summarize your project proposal.
There are gaps when it comes to documenting notable women especially Africans on the Igbo Wikiquote. Many African Women intellectual works and phrases are not on the Igbo Wikiquote which is one of challenges we are trying to bridge. This project will focus on bridging these gaps by creating New Wikiquote pages on the Igbo Wikiquote and improving the existing ones.This will help decolonize the internet by creating Igbo Wikiquote pages of African Women which will help contribute to language visibility, Women Visibility and increase participation in the network. On this project, participants both new and old will be thought the basics of creating and editing on Wikiquote thereby contributing to the sum of human knowledge. Participants will be trained on how to create quotes on the Igbo Wikiquote page.

We will recruit new editors to join the network.
- Add or improve content
We will add and improve Igbo Wikiquote pages.

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
This project is a day training and edit-a-thon.
2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.
I have let the Wikimedia Anambra Netwọrk known about this project.I will also communicate to them on various steps of the project.
3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.
I will let the participants know about this project through the Wikimedia Anambra Netwọrk Whatapp page.
4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.
For example: User:Kaizenify
User:Lebron jay - creating quotes
User: Akwugo -improving Wikiquote pages
5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?
Participants have their mobile phones and laptops and I will be assisting them on how to navigate the internet.
6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
There will be follow up on the WhatsApp group after the event to guide them.
7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
The Igbo Wikiquote lacks contributors and we want to take this up to involve more people on it.

I will use the Outreach dashboard and the xtool also to tack the event.
