  • The Wikimedia initiative at Katikan Katsina College of Education Dandume is dedicated to delivering extensive training and fostering awareness of Wikipedia among students. Through dynamic workshops and informative sessions, the initiative strives to empower students with the skills necessary to contribute effectively to Wikipedia and various Wikimedia platforms. By nurturing a culture of knowledge-sharing and digital literacy, the project endeavors to empower students, encouraging them to play an active role in creating and enhancing online content.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.

I will let them know via phone call and chatting on social media

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

This is the second time to reapply this Grant project.

  1. Refreshment: 1,500 x 22 (participants and facilitators) = N33,000×2days=N66,000
  2. Hall: N30,000×2days=N60,000
  3. Event's banner:N10,000.
  4. T-shirts for facilitators:N5,000×2=N10,000.
  5. Generator and fuelling × 2days = 20,000
  6. Transport for 1 orgerzer: 10,000
  7. Contingency - N10,000

Total amount=N186,000
