Proposal Update[edit]
In 2018, Wikimedia Deutschland is the first chapter to enter the FDC APG process with no grant request (Proposal of $0). For Wikimedia Deutschland, remaining in the APG process is a means to assure our accountability and continuous communication across the movement. The process currently serves as the reporting mechanism for the Wikidata funding Wikimedia Deutschland receives directly from WMF, and is a mutual obligation stipulated in Wikimedia Deutschland’s Fundraising Agreement. For the APG Proposal 17-18, Wikimedia Deutschland and the FDC agreed upon an alternative timeline for submitting a detailed APG proposal.
