Report accepted[edit]

Hi team, thanks for submitting a report that is both thorough and succinct - I've enjoyed learning more about your progress here, and congratulations on all you've achieved so far! とある白い猫 and I had a chance to discuss in more detail on Hangout today, and as I understand you're still adding some bits to this page (and as you consider what to include in the future final report), I've made a few suggestions that I'm sure he'll relay to you all in more detail. For example, I understand that you've had some really positive interest from the community (Turkish, etc) in participating in the human classification process (one of the things we hoped but weren't sure would happen) and because we're interested in the community engagement aspect of your project, I'd encourage you to incorporate some more of that information either here or in your final report. It would also be great to better understand, for aspects of the project that have been moved to later in your schedule (e.g. standing up a revision coder service), what the barriers have been. Documenting it can either create good opportunities for others to help remove those barriers, or at least help anyone in a similar situation in the future anticipate where roadblocks may be located, what amount of work is really reasonable to expect from a team of this size working part time on a big projects like this, etc. Again, congratulations on your progress to date. We're looking forward to the next few months. I'm accepting this report today and Janice will reach out to you soon to process your second disbursement of funds.
