Report accepted, thank you![edit]

Hi Eran and Ravid,

Thanks very much for sharing your progress in this report, and congratulations on what looks like a busy first 3 months! While I'm accepting this report today, I'm going to share a bit of feedback with you:

  • It is great that you've found an existing learning pattern that matches something you've found useful so far, and I'm glad you picked that one! Can you help grow that pattern's page directly by editing it a bit too, rather than just linking to it from this report? I would suggest clicking that "endorse" button to add your support to the pattern, and also adding an example of your own in either the "general considerations" or "when to use" sections (perhaps a couple sentences giving an example of when/how you've "let the community know" and it has been helpful), and then list this midpoint report of yours as a reference. This will help build the learning pattern library over time, which is useful to the movement at large!
  • In terms of the challenge you've mentioned about community adoption - I'd be curious to hear if you've got any ideas for what you'll do differently to improve communications and adoption going forward. Happy to toss around ideas with you guys if you like, at some point, too.
  • In terms of your first point in next steps, for people who may be interested in either suggesting a gadget for you to work on next, or just understanding which gadgets you plan to work on next, where would you suggest we look for a snapshot at any point in time? Will you be updating your milestones in the timeline page, or is there somewhere else we should direct people?

Thanks again for all your work so far, and here's looking forward to the next few months!

Best wishes, Siko (WMF) (talk) 00:24, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
