Hi,

Thanks for applying for a grant. However, has this project already taken place? If yes, why are you applying for funds after project completion? Abbasjnr 08:43, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was supposed to be a grant request submitted before the event, but a number of personal reasons prevented the grant request from coming through, whereas the event, after some confusion and with last minute WMF approval, nevertheless took place without grant funds, funded by a Wikipedian out of pocket.
