During the grant[edit]

If the index is complete, there isn't any page describing what to do during the grant/project, i.e. what are the acceptable ways to execute grants, spend the money, manage it etc.

For instance, "don't spend money on absolutely anything that is not explicitly mentioned and approved on your grant request" (even if maybe one could consider it obviously necessary and implicit, say bank wires expenses and other administrative expenses directly related to the grant): this is not really written anywhere, but rather implied in many places one may look at too late, like Grants:Index/Reporting_requirements («All grantees must appropriately document use of grants funds according to the requirements specified in the Grant Agreement») and the draft User:Wolliff/Grants_FAQ («No, you may only use funds exactly as described in the approved grant submission»).

Such things, that are obvious for me, were hard to show and demonstrate to others. --Nemo 16:20, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Nemo. This is a good point. We do plan to publish compliance guidelines for each program on Meta soon, and these documents will also clarify exactly how grant funds may be spent. Once the compliance guidances are published, we will definitely add the guidelines relevant to the WMF Grants Program to this index page.
