Comments on the budget[edit]
That proposal, IMO, has capability of achieving all requirements we expect to achieve with an outreach activity and I trust organizers to do a good work inclined with WMF expectations, for they have shown in the past a tremendous work. However, I confess that the budget raised my eyebrows. I hope one day the Brazilian community will achieve that level of trust and knowledge to be granted that ammount of money but as for today maybe it is better to walk with smaller steps.
I wonder if we can review the budget. Maybe working with volunteers instead of paid personnel? Perhaps starting with a volunteer to do the Press release for instance?
