This grant request has been marked as not funded because Ibibio Wikimedians User Group is not a recognized affiliate.

  • You mentioned that "Ibibio Wikimedians User Group" is a "newly founded" User Group. However, it is not formally recognized by the Affiliation Committee. You are required to correct your designation on the relevant Meta pages and public-facing pages or materials.
  • Additionally, Wikimedia trademark policy hasn't been followed. Your group should be formally recognized before using Wikimedia logos or marks. You cannot formally name your group as a "User Group", or refer to the group with names like "Wikimedia [name]" if it hasn't been explicitly approved by AffCom.
