Source material for Project Grants Committee Workroom[edit]

Noting that source material for this page was taken from both the Individual Engagement Grants Committee Workroom and Project and Event Grants Committee Workroom. --Marti (WMF) (talk) 16:48, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Right track?[edit]

Hi all! This is the first time I am part of a grant evaluation committee, and I am just writing to check I am moving on the right track. I have started reading some of the open proposals and, in accordance to step 4 on the "Getting Started" document, intend to give some early feedbacks. I have already written on the talk page of an open proposal, and I was wondering if any experienced committee member would kindly take a look at what I wrote to check if my questions and comments were ok, here. I hope you are all doing well, and I am very excited to be part of this activity in the community. --Joalpe (talk) 14:00, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Joalpe: Hi there and welcome to the committee! I've been a member of the IEG Committee for the past few rounds and just reviewed your comments. I think what you wrote is appropriate and you are on the right track :) In general, I would say feel free to ask whatever questions help you to better understand and evaluate the proposed project. What's most important is that you use a tone that is respectful, productive, and encouraging of applicants (which you've done here). Let me know if you have any other questions along the way. -Thepwnco (talk) 18:18, 14 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
