Final Report Approved[edit]

Hello Mpbonillap. Your final report for your Project Grant, Wikipedia women and ancestral knowledge from the global south in the Colombian context, is formally approved.

I really appreciate the careful attention to providing resources that you found useful in your engagement with the Wayuu people and other communities you worked with as a part of your grant activities. I look forward to sharing this with future grantees seeking to do work with indigenous communities in the movement. I also appreciate that your community engagement was impressively extensive and included indigenous leaders, students, teachers, active Wikimedians, community activists, and organizations aligned with your project goals and overall mission. That this effort has resulted in an substantial active editor base on a incubator project and some important article work (both in Spanish and native languages) to increase knowledge equity around indigenous peoples and cultures in Colombia is impressive work. Thank you very much for your work and reporting. We will follow up with any questions we have in the future as engagement with and interest in better representing indigenous communities grows throughout the Wikimedia movement.
