Project Management[edit]

Can you explain why volunteers cannot do the work listed under "Project Management" please? You can reply in French if it's easier. Thank you, Amqui (talk) 17:38, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Our organisation (AGRIPO) is not a group users of Wikipedia with a team of available volunteers. The team who manage the project is a paid team (usually or partially by our organisation) which are involved to mobilised and train short term volunteers to write articles. This project take into account the lesson learnt during our first experience! https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:PEG/Agripo/WikiVillages_du_Cameroun/Report
It is impossible to have long-term volunteers in our local context but it is easier to mobilise short term volunteer around a limited objective and to increase in the same line the presence of less covered countries like mine in a turn-over basis. But to do that, we need to have a dedicated and paid team.

Metrics on the ongoing project (Agripo 1.0)[edit]

On December 9th,2018, AGRIPO confirm that the metric of the Agripo 1.0 initiative are already realised

In the others hands, we have a new team of new contributors ( different of contributors of Agripo 1.0) who began to work on villages of far north, mainly due to the fact that many are students and will like to use their school holidays. Also, the contributors of Agripo 1.0 who have better wikipedia's skills are mobilised to train the volunteers of Agripo 2.0 in a turn over channel to facilitate the follow-up on the project.
