Hello Richest Kid thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We have reviewed your application and have a few questions and comments:

  • How would you track participants' contributions?
  • Aside from creating a WhatsApp group, how will you follow up with participants, so that they continue editing?
  • How many participants do you expect to have in total for all events?
  • How will you choose Wikidata items to edit? Will you provide a list of Wikidata items to edit?
  • Please reduce the contingency costs to 50 USD (~300 GHS).
  • If you plan to run an in-person event, how many participants will attend these events including organizers? For events with more than 10 people, you are required to complete the Risk Assessment tool.

Hello DSaroyan (WMF), this is a feedback to your question.

  • We have created a dashboard to track the event.
  • We will still engage them on various project that would enable them improve upon their skill and continue to edit.
  • So the wikidata item will be selected from the AfroCine page and also items will be created out of the page.We will create a google sheet where will make all the relevant item data available.
  • I have reduced it to GHC 300.
  • 20 people will attend this event. The risk assessment provided.
