Application received[edit]

Hi, Masego Makuku! Thank you for submitting this rapid grant request. We have received a high volume of requests, which may delay our review. We appreciate your patience and will respond to your request as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have a few questions for you:

  1. Could you please edit your proposal to include the usernames of the experienced Wikimedians helping you?
  2. Will this grant be done in collaboration with the Wikimedia Community User Group Botswana?
  3. We consider t-shirts to be a high-cost low-value item and prefer that grantees not include them in their budgets. Could you please either remove them from your budget or limit their number to no more than 5 (a few for staff and a few to be given out as prizes to top contributors)?

Please check this page for additional comments and questions as we review the application and please feel free to reach out to us with questions; we are here to help with a successful grant application! Best regards, LSmith (WMF) (talk) 18:45, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not Funded[edit]

Hello Masego Makuku, thank you for submitting your grant request. I see that over a week has lapsed since my colleague has posted questions. Unfortunately, this in addition to our selection criteria that requires a history of engaging with Wikimedia projects and communities has led us to mark your proposal as not funded. We hope you will have a chance to engage in more editing and return to our program at a later date. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 23:55, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
