Hi Tochiprecious, thank you for submitting this grant report. We congratulate you on the successful contest and on exceeding 2,000 articles milestone on Igbo Wikipedia. I’m happy to accept the final report and expense documents with the following questions:

  • Could you please fix the contest page links in the Outcome section?
  • You mentioned that participants became more motivated when there were prizes. Did these participants continue editing on Wikimedia projects after receiving the prizes?
  • Could you please provide the usernames of the jury members?

Hi DSaroyan (WMF) Thank you so much for your response. I've fixed the links on the outcome section. I just realized it was blocked. Thank you for your observation.

Yes the participants continued. They also participated in our last edit a thon on human rights and translated some articles too.

I've also updated the project page with the usernames of the jurors. The scoring sheet can also be found on the project page.
