Hi Filipinayzd. Thank you for this request and efforts to organize activities around the 10th anniversary of Bikol Wikipedia. We have a few questions before moving forward with the request.

The CBSUA Historical Photographs Digitization Project is a very interesting project. The proposal is currently drafted in the PEG template. Will this project need funding or will it be supported by the university?
Closure of your last grant was very delayed due to missing expense documentation. We will need a commitment from you to report completely and on time otherwise you will be ineligible for future grants.

Hello Alex. Thanks for the immediate response. On your first query, the university has the facility and volunteers for the scanning of photographs. More photographs can be recovered from the alumni ofother campuses if this activity will run for several months or a year. By doing so, this will also give us enough opportunity to promote Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia in the university. The project can be as simple as scanning of the photographs which the university currently has or we make it bigger by involving more agencies which will require funding for the promotion such as merchandise and prizes. This leads to the second query. A lesson learned which I failed to include is that professional help is needed specially on finance as this requires skills and time unless there is a member who can well manage this responsibility. Also, forms such as acknowledgement receipts should be prepared beforehand specially for winners so there is no need to contact them long after the awarding.
