From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Application received[edit]

Hi, Oby Ezeilo! Thank you for submitting this rapid grant request. We have received a high volume of requests, which may delay our review. We appreciate your patience and will respond to your request as soon as possible. One question in the meantime:

  • You have another rapid grant focused on Igbo Wiktionary edit-a-thons. If this grant is approved will you be carrying out a total of 8 edit-a-thons between now and August? Yes i will be carrying out 8 edit a thon from now till August.
    • If so, what will you do to help prevent volunteers from getting burned out?

I am using different volunteers for the different grants, this will also help to get more people interested and contribute in the wiki projects.

Please check this page for additional comments and questions as we review the application and please feel free to reach out to us with questions; we are here to help with a successful grant application! Best regards, LSmith (WMF) (talk) 20:04, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Approval[edit]

Hello Oby Ezeilo, thank you for answering my colleague LSmith (WMF)'s questions. In the future, please answer the questions separately at the bottom of the other person's comments so we can see that you have responded to the comments more easily. If you can also sign your name at the end so we can see when you left the comments that would be great. I am approving your grant request.
