Moved to Proposed[edit]

Hi @ MMontes (WMF) I have changed the status of the proposal to proposed and have sent an email to the team Jwale2 (talk) 23:54, 6 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Application received[edit]

Hello, Jwale2; thank you for your grant request. We have reached out to you regarding the expense report for your past grant (Shepedia), and once that report review process is closed we will notify you and start the review process of this request. We will be leaving comments on this talk page when that happens. Regards, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 18:09, 7 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Comments from WMF[edit]

Hello, Jwale2; thank you for your work on this submission. Looking at the scope of your grant proposal, we decide not to fund it fully because you are proposing many activities for a very short period of time, and we think quality might be better than quantity in this case. We are requesting that, if you want to still get funding for this project, you cut it into half and propose 10 photowalks instead. Please keep us posted on what you decide. Regards, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 20:09, 9 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Answer[edit]

Hello @ MMontes (WMF), Thanks for your positive response. The team have accepted cutting down down the proposed budget to more than half and also have 10 Photowalk as proposed by the rapid grant team (Changes made on the proposed page).

Nevertheless the team have decided to go the extra mile concerning our volunteering work and we assure you and your team that we would provide quality work not quantity. Jwale2 (talk) 12:36, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Grant request approved[edit]

Hello, Jwale2; I edited the dates on your proposal to reflect the current approval timeline. I also edited the grant amount to 3700; since you will have the original amount of time to complete only half of the photowalks, you should be able to use the community camera. We are approving your grant request. We hope you will have a successful series of photowalks, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 20:23, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
