Hello, Wikitanvir; thank you for submitting this grant proposal. We need to close your WLE grant before we proceed with the review of this proposal; I will follow up on this via email. In the meantime and in the interest of time, I want to inform you that we have received more requests than we expected and we do not have enough funds to cover all grants fully; this is why we are reaching out to all teams to request adjustments in their budgets.

In the case of WLM Bangladesh 2019, I have the following requests:

  1. We want to only preserve the prize bonds and certificates if they are low cost. We are not funding related prize items like crests, mugs, pens or calendars.
  2. Regarding the activities surrounding the contest, here are some ideas: organizing two photowalks and a smaller prize ceremony, only doing photowalks or only doing the ceremony. Your group can decide how those resources would be best spent. In any case, we need a more detailed description of what those expenses would be.

Hi Mariel, per your suggestions we made the following modifications to the grants request.
We removed Customized Mugs, Pens and Calendar from the prize. We'd like you to reconsider about the crest because it's kind of customary in Bangladesh to give crests to the winners of any kind of contest. In fact, last year winners' suggested to make a common design for the crest to give every year so that design itself act like some kind of brand for the WLM/WLE.
We'd like to suggest an alternate plan, we'd like to organize all 5 photowalks but we could remove the ceremony from here and could merge the ceremony with our WLE winners. We will organize one ceremony for both contest after WLM's conclusion. What do you think of that?

I would like to move forward with your proposal; however, can you update the dates to reflect when you plan to start and end your project.
