Report Accepted[edit]

Hello Mehman97thank you for organizing this event and your work on this project. I just had a couple observations to share with you.

  1. When I look at the articles created or improved all of them go towards the discussion/talk pages of the articles. Was that intentional? It was hard to review the articles easily. But I do appreciate you sharing the links. It was interesting to see the new additions to your list.
  2. I see that you had cash prizes as at the time of application we hadn't changed this rule yet. Please note that we no longer accept cash prizes for contests for future grant requests.

I am accepting your final report and expense documentation. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 23:48, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WJifar (WMF),
  1. Yes, this was done on purpose, since we had to group all the articles created during the competition into one category, so we created a special template that was added to the article talk page. Therefore all links go to the talk page. Unfortunately, we cannot (not entitled) to add competitive categories to the category of the article itself, according to the rules of Wikipedia.
  2. As I indicated on the grant page, all the winners of the competition received an Amazon voucher. As I indicated earlier, this year we have not given any money to the winners in any competition and are going to continue this practice in the future.
If there are any questions on this case, I am ready to answer them :) Best --Mehman 97 11:01, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
