Until Wikimédiens du Bénin User Group submits the pending Final and expense reports, we will be unable to fund grants from the user group. Alternatively, if you would like to request an extension for the submission date, please post a request on the discussion page with the new proposed dates for the completion of these projects.

Thanks for your messaage. Below my answers:

We planning to have some active wikimedians from the user group attend a TV program to talk about Wikipedia. For the moment we don't know exactly which TV it will be. The newspaper article, will be a press release to talk in one beninese newspaper to also talk about Wikipedia and it's sister project. Same thing, for the moment, we have not yet decided of the newspaper. For libraries and in some universities or high schools, we are planning to put some wikipedia posters with message to students about how Wikipedia can help them in their studies and alos how they share their knowledge by contributing to it. Our objective is to raise awareness about Wikipedia use and recruit new contributors in Bénin.

Can you clarify more about how you have arrived at your calculated estimate of 400 USD budget for TV show, 300 USD Newspaper article and 300 USD for Thank you cards impression? Hello RSharma (WMF), thanks for your reply. For the TV Interview and the newspaper article prices, we don't have a perfect estimation as it can depends on TV or the newspaper company. Generally those are abour the amounts they request. We asked some TV and newspaper company and that had been their answer.

regarding the Thank you card impression cars, we are going to send 50 thank you cards to community member and our partners. The cost to produice 1 card is $6, that genarally the price requested by printers in Benin. Then the cost for all the 50 card is $300.

Grant end date and reporting due date[edit]

Dear team,

We'd like to ask for an extension of our grant end date and the reporting due date. By the way, we've faced delay on our activities because of the COVID-19 pandemic and restructions set up by our government.

We are working hard to complete activities and submit the report by the end of next month (October).
