Annual plan grant approved (80,220 PLN for 6 months)

We are approving a grant of 80,220 PLN for 6 months. WMPL is an organization with a decentralized way of working that allows them to engage communities throughout Poland and their program work is focused on culturally relevant content, building community, and outreach. We appreciate WMPL’s frank reflections on the organizational audit. We hope these will be useful to others undergoing similar work, and they helped us gain a more nuanced understanding of the how the chapter is working.

In the upcoming year, WMPL plans to focus on balancing their ongoing program activity and organizational needs. They are requesting funding to hold a strategic workshop, a safety training, and facilitated board meetings. We believe these organizational development funds will help WMPL achieve their goals in the upcoming year, and better define their future direction. We appreciate their focus on strategy, and also on making a clear plan to ensure their strategy is implemented. We hope that as WMPL works to improve their governance, they are also able to develop a more coherent approach to program planning that reflects the deep strategic work they plan to do.
