It is out of scope for the Travel and Participation Support grant program, which offers funding for active participation in an event like speaking at a conference, hosting a hackathon session, or holding a workshop. We recommend reaching out to your local chapter for help with funding. Also, your proposal may be a better fit with our project and event grants (PEG) program. Dear Janice, The local chapter, WMCH, agreed to reimburse the travel expenses after the completion of the project. I shoot aerial photos only on sunny calm days, but for the second week there is no sun here. So, indeed, 1-day-Travel passes solution (with 50% discount), when the weather forcast is OK, suggested by the WMCH, is a better idea. Thank you again for your advice, Alexey M. (talk)
