Grants talk:TPS/Gikü/Wikimania/2018/Report

missing outcome[edit]

Hello Gikü, thank you for submitting your report. However, it appears that it is missing at least one outcome. WMF is requesting for attendees to share something that results from their participation at the conference with the Wikimedia movement after the conference has ended; or share something that was created/started while at Wikimania, but has benefits to the movement after the conference ended.

Please edit your report to meet the request, or let me know if I have missed any outcome/s in your report. -- Best, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 23:45, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jtud (WMF): Does this mean I need to complete all three options? I was assuming only one should be chosen and described. Gikü (talk) 06:39, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Gikü, no, you do not need to complete all three options. You can choose one, two, or all. Your report just needs to include something that happens after the conference as a result of your attendance at Wikimania; or something created while at Wikimania but has lasting benefits for the movement beyond the conference. If I have missed this from your report, please let me know. -- Thank you, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 15:12, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Jtud (WMF): Added more details, to all of the options :) Please let me know how else I can detail out the report. Thank you! Gikü (talk) 15:28, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

report received[edit]

Hello Gikü, thank you for making the edits on your report. You mentioned that what you learned from this Asaf's presentation at Wikimania, provided useful practices/information for you (and Wikimedians of Romania and Moldova User Group) regarding future activities/management of gender gap related issues, which is an issue that you/the UG actively work on improving. If I have understood you correctly, then this learning that happened at Wikimania resulted in something that you (and the UG) will practice in order to improve an issue that you have already been actively working on improving. Thank you for sharing the outcomes of your Wikimania experience. -- Best, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 20:29, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
