Feedback about your funding request[edit]

Thank you for this request and for your work on Semantic Mediawiki, Hypergrove. It sounds like you are doing innovative and important work! The committee discussed your request this morning and we'd like you to provide more information in your request about how your proposed goals and expected outcomes will meet the specific criteria of our program. Since your participation is focused on Semantic Mediawiki, it does not appear to contribute directly to any one of our projects. If that is not the case, please tie your potential outcomes and impact directly to the Wikimedia's strategic priorities, as indicated in the Travel and Participation Support page.

We look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you once again for your interest in this program. Best regards, Marti (WMF) (talk) 21:40, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hypergrove, just checking in to see if you are still interested in pursuing this request. We haven't heard back from you and so we're pinging you to let you know we're still happy to review your application with a bit more information.
Thank you!

I think John has already done an adjustment to his grant application to adhere to valid requirements. I am sure Hypergrove will comment on this. I cannot however assess if this is sufficient though it sounds like it to me. In the meantime the SMWCon Fall 2015 organization committee has officially accepted John's submissions (talk and workshop). The preparation and documentation will be done on the respective page at smw.o (talk) and (workshop). I believe it will be similarily good as this application. Again, we are very happy about this proposal and indeed look forward to having Chris as a contributor at the conference! --Karsten Hoffmeyer (Co Program Chair of SMWCon Fall 2015) 16:58, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
