Thank you for your submission. We appreciate your interest in promoting Wikibooks at the Opensym 2016, but the committee has decided not to fund your request. This program is designed to support active contributors to Wikimedia projects and we consider an applicant’s contribution record as an important part of evaluating each request. Your low contribution record combined with the rather high travel costs led to the decision of not funding your grant. In the committee’s response to both your 2014 request and your 2015 request, we have expressed concerns about your contribution record. We would like to see you develop a stronger track record of engagement with Wikimedia projects and communities before we fund a Travel and Participation Support request.
