Comments[edit]

Dear Atibrarian,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community support fund committee has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests:

  • There is an ongoing discussion at the English Wikipedia Noticeboard Incident regarding projects you have organized or co-organized. How have you addressed these concerns? How do you plan to mitigate these disruptions? We may not be able to move forward with this request until the underlying issues are resolved.
  • Also, since the project will not require, heavy data usage; we request that you reduce the data allowance to NGN 1,000 per participant.
  • Lastly due to our grant policy, we will not be able to fund any refreshments above NGN 2,500 so we request that you adjust this.

We look forward to your response and we thank you for the work you do within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 22:27, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ayokanmi (WUGN):Thanks for your comment. However, from indications, I have not in any way organized or co-organized any 1Lib1Ref program. The ongoing discussion relating to 1Lib1Ref is centrally coordinated by Wikimedia User Group Nigeria. The Admin who mentioned me on the noticeboard failed to scrupulously investigate /determined the organiser before tagging me on the trend.

With regards to the micro-grant submitted, the proposed date has already elapsed at the time of your response/comment. Unfortunately, due to a tight schedule, I felt it was not feasible to continue with the grant. Best regards.Fatimah (talk) 15:46, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
