Dear Iwai-Dialax,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria Community Support Fund has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests in order for us to move on with your grant application:

  • We are happy to learn that this project would result in the addition of 200 monument pictures around the Niger Delta, but can you list some of these monuments to be captured?
1. The palace of the oba of ogbaland on omoku, Rivers state .
2. Some oil and gas facilities in omoku .
3. Bridge of no return, ( ikot Abasi LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
4. Historical sites in Bonny island .
5. Oron Museu,Oron LGA the Blue Rivers Ukanafun LGA, all in Akwa Ibom State
  • The project scope isn't properly clear, so please explain how you will be coordinating this project around the Niger Delta.
Project scope of Wiki-Niger Delta loves Monuments.
1.Form onground teams in Rivers, Akwa-Ibom , Bayelsa to visit site including community members and experienced photographers at least 5 per location to visit selected monuments.
2.open Virtual contest for random participants across the states .
3. Organize a virtual session on how to upload on wiki commons .
4. Visit monument sites
5. Uploading session on wiki commons .
6. Reporting and evidence of pictures
  • We realize that you don't have up to 10 edits on all of the Wikimedia projects; please explain how this will not affect the success of the project.
Personally my editing has been sluggish due to IP issues but with the energy of the community members and with the experience of supper swift we would deliver on this project effectively.
  • Lastly, please explain what the ‘pre Launch Training’ is for.
This definitely means an in person info session on how to edit on wiki commons.

We look forward to your effective changes so we can move on with the proposal.

Thanks and regards,
