Thank you for submitting this grant application and for all the work done in the Unilorin Fan Club. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community support fund has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests in order for us to move on with your grant application.

• Since the event will be within the school premises, we don’t see the need to have rental event space. Please clarify this.
• We also feel that the projector rental should be scrapped as well as most event halls will have a projector.

Dear Ayokanmi (WUGN),

Thank you for taking time to review this grant application.

The allocation for event space is due to the place that is being used which is a rented place. Getting a place to use comes with conditions like non-members accessing the venue. More so, noises are also not good during the training. The Bukatee restaurant VIP space is always used for convenience sake and access to uninterrupted electricity.

The place we are using is not a conference room with all these facilities and that demands for the rental of Projector.

Request for a change of starting date for Semester Funding for Wikimedia Fan Club Unilorin Meetups and Editathons in the 2021/2022 Rain Semester

Hello Ayokanmi (WUGN),

Thanks you to the Wikimedia Nigeria for selecting this grant proposal.

I would like to make a request for this grant to postponed till August ending or later base on the ongoing ASUU strike that is affecting my institution and we are not obliged to host school programs outside of campus.

To this end, I would like to tell the Wikimedia Nigeria to hold on to the funds till we are resume on campus for academic activities.

I look forward to your approval for this request and your best response.

Request to proceed with the Semester Funding and a Change to Harmattan Semester

Dear Ayokanmi,

I hope you are doing fine and all is well with you?

I am glad to inform you that 15th December, 2022 is the resumption date for both freshers and returning students for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

A request for change in dates in this application from the previous 1st June - 31st September 2022, to 20th December, 2022 - 20th April, 2023.

I would like to request for a change of the semester requested in this application. From Rain Semester semester to Harmattan Semester as the semester we are starting is Harmattan.

I await your response and approval.

I hereby acknowledge a Sum of 299,000 NGN (half of the proposed amount on this application) was disbursed by the Wikimedia NIgeria Usergroup for two events on 20th January, 2023 James Moore200 (talk) 09:15, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

This project was carried out partially with a sum of 299,000 NGN only. The project was discontinued due to the lack of completion of the previous funds.
