Dear @Linason Blessing:,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. We are happy to see that your application is around Wiki Loves Africa campaign and are looking forward to the results. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria has further reviewed your application, and they have some follow-up requests:

  • Are some of the participant photographers? As we are also looking out for quality images, how do you bridge this gap?
  • For a photo event of 30 participants, we feel the 60 photos benchmark is low; is there a way to adjust this?
  • How will you ensure that the photos will be uploaded? we didn't see any action on this in the proposal.
  • For Wikiloves Africa flyers; can you tell us more about them and their effect?
  • Lastly, please make the facilitator's internet to be 1,000 NGN each as well.

Thank you once again, and we look forward to your response so we can be able to move on with the application..

Dear @Ayokanmi (WUGN):,

Thank you for your response on my grant proposal, below is the response to questions asked;
1.Yes, we are having some students that are into photography and these set of students are the ones we are considering to select for our Photo walk. And we are hiring a photographer with a quality camera to get us some quality pictures during our Photo walk as well.
2. Yes, it can be and will be adjusted to 100 pictures.
3. There will be a physical meetup in the school for the uploading sessions with the participants where the facilitators will give them trainings on the dos and don’ts of the Wiki commons and how to effectively upload the pictures on wiki commons.
4.Wiki Loves Africa online flyers is an effective way to promote the Wiki Loves Africa campaign, reach a global audience, and encourage people to participate in the mission of increasing the representation of African cultures and heritage on Wikipedia. By leveraging the power of digital channels and interactive features, online flyers can help you engage with a wider audience and build support for the campaign. It will be shared on the club Social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
5.Okay, Noted I will adjust that.
Thank you once again, Looking forward to your response.
Best Regards
Blessing Linason
