Dear Oludegun,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. We are excited about you planning for a Wiki Loves Monument event in Ibadan. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community Support Fund Committee has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • Do you have any photographers to support the project?
  • What's the rationale for NGN60,00 bus hiring: we feel it's too high, please adjust.
  • Also please, we feel the internet cost is too high; please justify or adjust.
  • Lastly, please list out or mention some of the monuments you intend to document in Ibadan for the campaign.

We look forward to your response and we thank you for the work you do within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 18:10, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

1.Do you have any photographers to support the project?- Yes,we have photographers who have indicated their interest in being a part of this project.

2. What's the rationale for NGN60,00 bus hiring: we feel it's too high, please adjust. - Ibadan is a very vast place and the monuments identified are far and wide apart. The estimate was based on a going daily rate of N30,000.00 for bus charter and the possibility of our having to be on the road for 2days to achieve our goal.

3. Also please, we feel the internet cost is too high; please justify or adjust. - This is an estimate based on the cost of a mini WiFi at N9,500.00 and 40gb data @ N10,000.00. This has been adjusted accordingly.

4. Lastly, please list out or mention some of the monuments you intend to document in Ibadan for the campaign.- The Irefin palace, old Oyo National park, Agodi park n gardens,Aremo hills,Eleyele hills,Bower towers, Cocoa house, The liberty Stadium etc Oludegun (talk) 05:08, 11 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Good day team,we seek tour kind indulgence I making the under listed adjustments in this request; 1. We seek to change the start and end date of this project from August 31st and 30th of September 2022 to October 1,2022 and October 31,2022 respectively to afford us time for adequate preparation.

2. Under the project plan and expected impact of this project, the number of pictures to be uploaded is 18 and not 180 as inadvertently stated in the grant application. If we however identify some other sites if historical value,we will not hesitate to increase the number.

Thank you Oludegun (talk) 03:36, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
