Comments[edit]

Dear Onyeike Izuchi,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community Support Fund Committee has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • Do you have any photographer to support this project with you and how do you intend to get photographers?
  • Can you please list out or mention some of the monuments you intend to document in Ilorin for the campaign?
  • From your metrics, with 20 participants and 50 photos to be uploaded, that mean each participant is expected to upload about 2 photos each? We consider this low; can you increase the number of photos to be uploaded?
  • Lastly, what's the rationale for the “Facilitator travel expense” cost?

We look forward to your response and we thank you for the work you do within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 18:12, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have photographers and these photographers are from the group of volunteers who would go on the photo walk. Some of the monuments we intend to document in Ilorin for the campaign are: 1 Ancient art works. 2 Cultural relics. 3 The collection of stoned images in Africa.

These are for the facilitators who would leave their different destinations to help with the success of the campaign or photo-walk.

Not funded[edit]

Dear Onyeike Izuchi,

Thank you once again for all the work on this grant application. We really do appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of Wikimedia in Nigeria.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to move on with this application as there is already a funded grant application for Ilorin here and the grant reqest came before yours as we are not allowed to fund the same event (wiki loves monument) at a particuar time in a particular state or region.

We are also worried about the mainspace block on the English Wikipedia.

You are however welcome to submit another grant request in the next round in September.

Thank you once again for all the amazing work done.
