Dear Psalmbusy

Thank you for submitting this grant application. We really do appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of Wikimedia in Nigeria. After a thorough review of your application by the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria community support fund committee, and while the idea is excellent, they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • We are still waiting for your email address. Please update this as soon as possible
  • You didn't make any plans for internet connection. How do you intend on getting people to edit?
  • The certificate of participation will incur extra cost and we suggest you can do away with it
  • 2,500 NGN for refreshment is on the high side. Can you make adjustments to this?

We look forward to your response and adjustment on or before May 30th 2023. Thank you once again for your work within the Wikimedia Movement in Nigeria.

Thank yiu for your comments.

  • Ive updated my email.
  • Ive also update the internet cost.
  • The certificate is really important as the audience are content enthusiast some of which are civil servants; so certifiate are always like a big deal for them to attend or attain. Also, the event is two days which will be inform of training and edit a thon so the certificate is also to increase the morale of participants so they can attend for the 2 days.
  • Ive adjusted the refreshment to 2,000 per person.

Budget Adjustments and Final clarifications[edit]

Hello Psalmbusy, your event date is urgently needed so we know when to expect your report. We also decided to cut the budget to 248,500NGN by making the following adjustments

  • refreshment has been reduced to 1500NGN per person which makes 81,000NGN
  • certificate for only the 25 participants (12,500NGN).
