Dear Umar-askira ,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community support fund committee has reviewed your application, and they have some follow-up questions and requests:

  • For your last project report here, we request that you add pictures from the event to complete the project before moving on with this.
  • Will the project be hosted in a school and please what's the justification for the venue hall fee?
  • Also, 5 facilitators for a project with just 5 new persons is very poor. Please increase the metrics
  • Lastly, why is it essential for the project to be 2 days instead of just a day?; we advise that you make it a day.

We look forward to your response and thank you for your work within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 12:53, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Ayokanmi (WUGN):, Thanks for your endeavors to review my application on the project to see Wikimedia User Group Nigeria our Mother land reached to the success rate. my pleasure to comply with you Ayokanmi.

My response:

  • I have improved my report page and make changes according to your request for the last project (check here)
  • The project will not be hosted in a school premises because the project is not related to any although the participants will mostly come out from KADUNA Polytechnic those that I trained Wiktionary in the last event. The venue will be outside of the school. In the last project, the school did not accept my request to be done inside the school, that is why I prefer not to do this project inside the school. In fact am going to the same venue where I hosted the last project it is even much better than the school because of the environment is conducive.
  • I have added the number of new editors thought I want to give more focus on those that I trained in Wiktionary events for duplication not recruiting.
  • I chose the project to be two days base on expenses I have from foundation projects I hosted because:
  1. Most of the first day of event is introductions and some other things that might be discussed on Wikipedia.
  2. The day 2 is always being a hands on practical Day.
I was even thinking of increasing the days to comfortably train the participants because of my last event experience, It is one of the events that I found very difficult though I know things happened like that because we are not efficient and also the funds are being not like I I used to from the foundation. It is our Father Land project we most work for it to make the sky be WUGN starting point by God grace!
Thanks for your endeavors Ayokanmi (WUGN). God bless WUGN!
Best regards,
Umar-askira. Umar-askira (talk) 06:36, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
