Dear Ogalihillary

The Wikimedia User Group Nigeria community support fund committee has further reviewed your application, and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • Why is the project location the FCT, while the proposal talks about Igala?
  • Refreshment is capped at 1,500 NGN per participant (60,000 NGN total for the two days)
  • Only 5 t-shirts will be funded at the cost of 25,000 NGN
  • The amount for prizes is capped at 30,000 NGN. Participants are eligible for the global prize and the WUGN prize.
  • Please justify why 110,000 NGN should be given to you as transportation

To enhance grantee experience, the WUGN has decided to provide internet support for the event. A google sheet will be provided where all participant phone numbers and service provider would be collated. This would be submitted a day before the event and airtime disbursement would be made available on the date of event. In line with this new development, the cost for all data should be excluded from your budget. Ashioma (WUGN) (talk) 19:58, 29 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

MOVED TO MARCH PROPOSALS[edit]

Dear Ogalihillary, due to your silence, we have decided to treat your proposal with those of March 2024. The same changes requested are to be effected if we are to fund this project. Thanks for your understanding. Ashioma (WUGN) (talk) 11:23, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for you response, I won't be taking the grant again as the time for WLA 2024 is coming to an end and we won't have enough time to plan for the event. Also the budget will not be enough to cover our expenses.
Thank you for considering my proposal. Ogalihillary (talk) 08:51, 4 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's fine. Thanks for your input. Ashioma (WUGN) (talk) 09:26, 4 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear Ogalihillary, the WUGN has decided to review Wiki Loves Africa proposals in June. Since this is an old application, we suggest you start a new application. Many thanks. Ashioma (WUGN) (talk) 15:56, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ashioma (WUGN), thank you for reaching out, Wiki Loves Africa ended last month and the jury are working on the result already. Unless we can use the grant to fund translation project on our Igala Wikipedia that just got approved from incubator few months ago. Ogalihillary (talk) 16:30, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
