Dear Akwugo,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. We are excited about you planning for a Wiki Loves Monument event is Anambra state especially at a time that we will be launching a hub in Anambra state. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community Support Fund Committee has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • Please explain how you intend to make the 5 events?
  • Can you please list out or mention some of the monuments you intend to document in Anambra state for the campaign?
  • Also do you have any photographer supporting you in this project?
  • Lastly, please reduce the cost of transportation as its beyond our funding limit..

We look forward to your response and we thank you for the work you do within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 18:29, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes,we intend to visit five communities in Anambra State where we can get structures with historical significance.
Places like the palace of Igwe Orizu III of Nnewi and Nwafor Orizu home in Nnewi.Igbo Ukwu is also a community known for bronze in Anambra State and we will be visiting there for structures that have historical/Archeological significance.Enugu Ukwu( in Isi nrii Odinani museum),Nsugbe and Uzu Awka are people known for blacksmithing and some of these communities has museums and we will be visiting these areas and these can't be a one day tour.
We have no photographer going with us but can involve one if the committee want this and this will increase the budget because getting a professional photographer here in Awka for these projects will take a lot of charges.
Lastly, going to these places will require high cost and also there are tips we have to involve for easy acess but we can manage a little reduction. Thank you Akwugo (talk) 13:44, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
