NOT FUNDED[edit]

Dear Praise03

The Wikimedia User Group Nigeria community support fund committee has reviewed your application and is unable to fund your grant request at this time due to the fact that you have not created any articles on Wikipedia at the time of review. Hence, you do not have the required experience to lead this project.

We however request that you submit another application in coming months

Thank you once again for all the fantastic work done and the understanding. Ashioma (WUGN) (talk) 22:11, 9 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, first of all the reason my application was rejected isn’t even in the eligibility criteria,
secondly, I have joined the wikimedia community for close to two years. Talmbout experience, I have first hand experience and I have even collaborated with two other fan clubs to hold events in our community. I single-handedly trained 30 new editors on editing articles and creating articles/infoboxes. In which our dashboard recorded 800 contributions. If it’s the experience, I have it and I am well known amongst other wiki organizers for participating in events and collaborating with them to hold events in our community. Also, this isn’t our first event in the community. I am just requesting your financial support to continue sustaining our community.
if you have further enquiries/concerns you can reach out to me. ( just so you know, our community with active and passionate volunteers is lying dormant because we aren’t getting support to hold events)
