Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.
Last march 2022 I became one of the volunteers of Wiki Advocates Philippines. It is a non-profit organization which aims to provide free knowledge and information through the use of the different wikimedia projects like wikipedia, wikiquote, wiktionary and the like. Currently, I am the President of this organization and I become a top editor of some of these said wikiprojects. Throughout my term as a president, I am aware that we are lacking hardware to use in our programs, events, edit-a-thon sessions and other events and sometimes it is preventing us from achieving our goals in every programs we have in our organization. Also, we want to contribute more and share our knowledge to others but the scarcity of hardware equipment in our community is hindering us from doing so. This laptop would be purely dedicated to our organization that will greatly impact the volunteers and also the wikiprojects.
