Explain your plan
Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. I have been an active contributor to the English Wikipedia since 2013, and I am also a active contributor of images to Commons. Over the years, I have also contributed to Wiktionary and Meta. I recently started contributing on the Yoruba Wikipedia and I'm trying out Wikidata as well.
I am a founder-member of Wikimedia User Group Nigeria (WUGN), which was recognized in September 2015; since its establishment, I have served as the Outreach Coordinator for the group. I have coordinated several outreach projects in Nigeria and I also manage the social media (Facebook page) for WUGN. I participate in several edit-a-thons, workshops, meetups, and conferences.
My present laptop was gotten six years ago, and it's been exhibiting defect signs , for a while now. Recently, it often overheats and shuts down by itself. The issue seems to be getting worse everyday, but I can't afford to get myself a new one at the moment. This problem is affecting my contributions to Wikimedia projects and being gifted a replacement from the foundation will definitely boost my active time on the project and help deal with frustrations that occur when I need to use my PC for demonstration during workshop sessions.
Add the existing Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, etc.) and language versions that you seek to impact with this equipment.
