The Hausa Wikipedia Article Writing Contest aims to create articles about important people who are currently not represented on Hausa Wikipedia. We believe that this project aligns with our shared goal of sharing knowledge, involving the public, and promoting notable individuals from different backgrounds.

How to participate[edit]

Sign in or Create a New Account on Hausa Wikipedia (You can create account on any language). You can find the list of all language Wikipedia.

Find an article that needs to create.

Add your name to the participant's list

2 Enroll on the program dashboard [1] to track your contributions.

Campaign timeline[edit]

  • Start for entries: 12:00AM 10th July, 2023
  • Deadline for entries: 11:59PM 10th, August 2023
  • Results announcement: Before 20th August, 2023
