Building the Igala Wikipedia Community Through Campus Engagement Campaign Is an initiative aimed at expanding the Igala Wikipedia by engaging students in higher institutions across Kogi State(Prince Abubakar Audu University Ayangba, Federal Polythecnic Idah And kogi State polythecnic Lokoja). This outreach program will focused on teaching Igala-speaking students how to contribute to Igala Wikipedia, thereby preserving and promoting the language and culture online.

[edit]On November 25, 2023, a significant event took place with the goal of expanding Igala language access on Wikipedia. This event focused on creating and engaging a community of contributors for Igala Wikipedia on the Wikimedia Incubator. The event brought together passionate individuals who are committed to preserving and promoting the Igala language through the Wikimedia platform. Click here to read more
On 1st July 2023, an hybrid event focused on revitalizing the Igala language on Wikimedia platforms was organized at Boroffice hall National Space Research and Development Agency Abuja Nigeria and Zoom Platform. The event, sponsored by WikiTongues, which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and promoting the Igala language and provided participants with practical knowledge on how to contribute to the Igala language wikipedia on wikimedia incubator.
