This is a Nigeria public writing competition to create and improve articles that will strengthen Wikipedia coverage of Nigerian women. The winners will receive great prizes. The Challenge is organized as part of the global WikiGap campaign by Igbo Wikimedians User Group in Nigeria. It's an event to celebrate International Women's Day. Due to the prevailing global pandemic and to enable us reach more people in Nigeria, we would therefore host a 2hr online training via Zoom on Wikipedia for interested participants to be followed by the online contest.
- The online training will take place from 8th March 2022 to 10th March 2022 between 12:00 to 01:30pm.
- The writing challenge will run from 00:01 from 13th March to 11:59 13th April.
The contest is simple in structure, based on a KISS point system: You get points while improving articles, with the goal for each participant to gain as many points as possible. Sign up here Click Here to register for WikiGap Challenge 2022
