Goodness Ignatius is a certified librarian, Women in Digital Business trainer, and art & crafts enthusiast. She is passionate about open knowledge and actively contributes to Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikiquote, Wiktionary, and Wikimedia Commons. With a strong focus on community engagement, she empowers others through training and advocacy, while also promoting creativity through crafts and digital skills for women in business.
My work
She is currently the Co-founder and coordinator of the Ig Wiki Librarians Hub, a group dedicated to supporting librarians in their efforts to contribute to Wikimedia projects. She is the Documentation Lead for Wiki Niger Delta Heritage Collective, a group that documents the activities of the Niger Delta region/South-South region of Nigeria through photography.She has participated as a student and facilitator during various Wiki events/programs.
