Ilorin Wikimedia Hub/Meetup + Wikipedia and Wikidata Workshop, March 2018

It's been four months since the completion of Wiki Loves Africa in Ilorin, a very successful contest which launched the Ilorin Wikimedia Hub. Now, we want to follow up this success with a Wikipedia and Wikidata workshop, which will teach these volunteers how to make meaningful contributions to these platforms.

  1. Recruit new editors and increase skills for existing editors.
  2. In-depth Wikipedia Workshop.
  3. Introduction to Wikidata.
  4. Creation and improvement of Wikipedia articles (mini editathon).
  5. Socialize with community members.
  6. Two additional executives were appointed for the hub.
