  • Judge's comment: I've reviewed but vote NOT to approve, since none of the sources supported the central concept of the article. See comments on the article's talk page. StuRat 23:12, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
  • What?! I don't understand...I based my articles on the sources...?
  • Judge's comment: If you see the article's talk page, I added what I believe is the section of the source you misunderstood. If you have other evidence (particular sentences) from your sources which support your view, please add them there and I will take a look. If convinced, I will then vote to approve the article. Okay, I just don't have enough time - as much as I'd like to continue, I have to withdraw. Datrio 21:19, 12 September 2005 (UTC)

  • There seems to be no judge for french wikinews. Regarding to the rules you can't participate because of this. -- Kju 21:51, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
  • Hmm...computer translations are not acceptable? You'd get a gist of what the author was saying. --Ari S. 12 September 2005
  • Judge's comment: How we have handled this in the past is to allow the contestant to remain, with the hope of finding a judge for their language. If no judge is found by the end of the contest, then they will be disqualified. StuRat 07:43, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
  • Hégésippe normally should be able to help out... I'm currently translating the project page so he can become a judge. Faager 15:15, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
  • Good, be sure to have them sign up on the main contest page. StuRat 17:53, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
  • I'm here ;D Alvaro 23:06, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
